I have the house to myself for 5 days

So, what do I do with my free time, start a blog about the kids. Well...the one who is born and the one who isn't yet. We did find out in November that I was pregnant and we now know that it is a boy who will be named Reed Albert. Reed and Albert are both names from both of my grandfathers, Nelson "Red" Reed and Albert "Bud" John. Just so everyone knows, the name IS set and not open for suggestions so don't feel the need to offer any. Or maybe we will name him Redbud...

I decided to start this blog because 1) The computer is the best way for me to record information and 2) I realized that all the little things I thought I would never forget about Millie's little life growing up I have already forgotten (sorry Millie). So now I can start to record Millie's little things as well as let all of you know what is going on with Reed's progress as well.

I thought about trying to catch everyone up on all the things Millie has been doing but I really just have to start from today or it will be to hard. So, today Millie saw real snow for the first time (that she remembers). She is now on her way to Indiana with Rick so hopefully she will get to play in some today because they have more than we do down here in Tennessee. Unfortunately, I did not get a picture, shame on me!! Other things about her real quick, she loves Thomas the Train, is sleeping great in a big girl bed she has been in since she was 1 1/2, loves going to the Little Gym (and is very good I must add), is 99.9% potty trained (since Thanksgiving of 07), and loves anything physically dangerous (remember, she is a Meunier).

Reed, is of course, proving everyday that he is a Meunier and is VERY active. I think he is going to be a kicker like his Uncle Jeff but maybe he is boxing, hard to tell but he is a mover and making sure that I do not forget he is there.

Rick is currently adding on a screen porch to the back of the house as well as a deck. It just would not be right if Rick was not building something on to the house. That may be my fault but no need to get in to that right now.

And me...I am trying to be a good mom to Millie and Reed. I also have a little business of making handmade cards and custom scrapbooks for people that I am trying to get off the ground. Let me know if you need any kind of card, I can make it. Check out my cards at Paula's Handmade Memories.

What else is going on...of course!! Our friend Nicole is due any day with her baby girl. Technically, she was due 3 days ago so really, any time now our playgroup could go from 6 two year olds and a baby to 6 two year olds and 2 babies. We are all very excited for Nicole and can not wait 'till that baby is born.

I think that about catches everyone up on what is going on. I guess I should now start cleaning and finishing my card orders.
