We have done some things other than softball this summer, just not too much. Millie, Jacob and I rode our bikes to Huber's Winery a few days ago. My mom brought Reed in the car. It was a total of about 9 miles. The kids enjoyed the petting zoo which is way more than your average petting zoo. It's lots of fun!
Our church had their annual parade yesterday. All the cool people in Starlight decorate their tractors, buggies, motorcycles or army trucks for the 4th of July and we do a flag raising, sing some songs, say a prayer and then it's off to take over the roads of Starlight. Rick, Millie and I were only there to see them off because Millie had a game we had to get to. They have a big meal afterward but we had to miss that too.
Mom always does a great job decorating her buggy for the Parade.
