Millie's team did it again. They played hard and are now the State Champs in Babe Ruth League. They blew away all the teams they met until the final game for the winner's bracket. They fell apart and lost to Richland Beanblossom. That put them in the losers bracket starting the next morning. Richland is a tough team but I knew if our girls were playing their best, we could beat them. The girls played 3 games back to back to back to end up winning the State Championship. They played 7 straight hours! They had to beat Richland 2 games in a row and they did it easily. Richland didn't even score a single run in the first game and we beat them 16-4 in the final game for the Championship. The next step is the final one for this age group, they stop at Regionals. That will be in Ohio in just a few days.
