I was very proud of Millie's team. She should have been on a 4-5 grade league but some parents told me I needed to play her up on the 6-8 grade league. So we did and I was glad. They had 3 5th graders on their team (the only 5th graders in the league) and they came in third. Our 5th graders were our strongest players. If we had had more height, we could have hung with the older girls even more.
Reed's season is just starting and they won their first game by about 20. He missed his second game but they won that one as well. From what I am seeing, our team will be hard to beat. He's loving it and he made a basket in the first game!
