Practice And The Beach - Tuesday

Games start on Wednesday but their coach had a park reserved for them to practice some on Tuesday morning. It was hot (turned out the be the hottest day) and some of the girls didn't feel well but they were tough and practiced hard.

After practice was lunch and beach time. We weren't at the beach more than an hour before thunder and lightning started. The girls had a lot of fun in that hour, though.

We made a run for it and after that storm passed some of the girls hit the pool along with Reed.

Millie wanted to chill in the room and rest before dinner. The plan was for everyone to go out and eat together. Reed was getting out of the shower when he slipped and fell and knocked his head on the toilet. He immediately had a huge knot behind his ear and it was bleeding. Mom and I stayed home with him and iced it while Millie and Rick went out with the team. Reed's comment "I sure hope God gave me an extra hard head". Me to buddy, me too.
